Dr. Merary Simeon is a seasoned Fortune 50 human resources executive and co-founder of ZERA Consulting®, a company that equips leaders with skills and strategies that advance multicultural women in the workplace. As a first-generation college student, doctoral student, and corporate America professional, she is on a mission to create what she wants to see—multicultural women in positions of power.  

With 25+ years of experience as a human resources business partner, her expertise spans talent management, change management, and executive coaching. She helps organizations achieve their goals by redefining traditional practices and creating inclusive cultures centered on support and sponsorship. Through her meaningful work, Dr. Simeon adeptly identifies leaders' blind spots and helps them develop intentional leadership skills to improve the future for the next generation. 

With her profound success and respected reputation, Dr. Simeon has become a bestselling author of H.E.R.A.C.T. and an engaging speaker, inspiring audiences to activate their power, unlock their potential, fulfill their purpose, and unmute their voice. Dr. Simeon holds a doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University and a master's in human resources from Fordham University. 

Her guiding principle is Philippians 4:13, crediting her success to Jesus Christ. As a woman centered on faith, community involvement and charitable causes are central to Dr. Simeon's values. She served as treasurer on the board of the Women's Foodservice Forum, where she helped their mission to magnify powerful women, conversations, and growth.
 

A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Simeon now calls Texas home, where she resides with her family.
